Playgrounds

Warwick has a number of playgrounds located both in neighborhood parks and larger facilities, like City Park, throughout the community. Also, each school in Warwick is equipped with at least one large playground located away from major thoroughfares. All parks are open from dawn to dusk, unless posted otherwise.

Warwick is also home to the imPossible Dream Playground, which is operated independently by a non-profit organization. Founded by John D. Florio, the facility is Rhode Island’s first integrated playground, offering a clean, safe place that is play-friendly for children of all physical abilities. Open daily April through October from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., except holidays and holiday weekends. They have a “no admission fee policy” for families, though a $1 donation per child is suggested.
